Cassandra’s winemaking journey began the way the best stories do: with an opportunity and a leap of faith. After dinner with a renowned Napa winemaker, she was offered an internship and spent the next three years learning the rules well enough to break them. Whether she’s touring vineyards, doing late-night punch downs, or sampling the product (quality control matters!), you can be sure she’s doing it her own way. As Corcilla Cellars founder and winemaker, Cassandra brings the laughter, ridiculousness, and passion that make everything else possible. She’d be the first to say that winemaking isn’t always glamorous (and almost never easy), but there’s nowhere she’d rather be and nothing she’d rather be doing.
